Tracing back to billions of years ago, the sun god and the Buddha ruled the earth together, but they overlook each other. The sun god believes in illuminating the earth and dominated all things in the world. The Buddha thinks heaven and earth palace belonging to him, where the gods and people were at his disposal. So they make an appointment with each other. The Sun God first make the world with three years of sun exposure, to test Buddha’s ability in settling the livelihood of the people. In the first year, Buddha transfers water from rivers and lakes to alleviate the disaster. In the second year, owing to all rivers are dried up, Buddha asks the Dragon King to help. In the third year, all the grass and trees are withered, livestock is dead, and rocks are melted, and the world almost becomes a big fireball. Faced with this, Buddha is silent and weeps regretful tears for his own fault. Coincidentally, this crystal tear falls on a fairy stone fallen from mending the sky. After years of growing up, it gives a birth to a fairy baby. Suddenly, lightning flash, the stone monkey is the monkey Sun Wukong. That is the reason why he could not escape from the Buddha's palm, and everything have to be at the Buddha's disposal.
